JHS 118’s Science Department seeks to improve students’ understanding of scientific inquiry by fostering critical thinking and logical reasoning in the pursuit of scientific knowledge because rigorous scientific instruction prepares students for the deep thinking associated with 21st Century skills.


Expectations:

  • Join class on time (In person or Google Meet)
  • Keep cameras on and wear uniform
  • Follow directions carefully
  • Submit assignments on time
  • Ask for help through Google Classroom and/or email
  • Be prepared- For example, keep laptop fully charged
  • Actively participate during class (Through chat or mic)
  • Periodically check your PupilPath account!
  • If you need help, request to meet with your teacher during office hours 2:00-2:20 pm daily.
